Funnel & Trace

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Funnel & Trace. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and a password (stored in encrypted hashed form — we never see your plaintext password).

Funnel and tracking data. When you set up funnels in your account, we store the page names, URLs, and configuration you provide. When visitors to your pages trigger our tracking code, we receive and store event data such as page views, clicks, form submissions, video interactions, device type, browser, operating system, traffic source parameters (UTM tags), and the timestamps of those events.

Lead information. If your visitors submit forms with their email address through pages running our tracking code, that email is associated with the visitor record in your account so you can attribute future activity to that lead.

Meta (Facebook) advertising data. If you choose to connect a Meta ad account to Funnel & Trace, we receive an OAuth access token from Meta that authorizes us to read information about your ad accounts. Using this token, we periodically fetch advertising spend, impression counts, click counts, campaign / ad set / ad metadata, and related performance metrics. We use this data solely to display it back to you in your dashboard. We do not modify, post, or take any other actions on your Meta account beyond reading the information needed for reporting.

Technical data. We collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising purposes outside of the Service.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by trusted third-party hosting providers (currently Supabase, which provides our database and authentication, and Netlify, which provides our web hosting). All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS). Passwords are hashed before storage; we never have access to plaintext passwords.

Meta OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our database and are accessed only by our server-side processes when fetching your ad data. Access controls and database row-level security policies ensure that your data is only accessible by your authenticated account session.

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. You may delete your data at any time through the account-deletion process described below.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their own commercial use.

We may share information with:

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Funnel & Trace uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage to maintain your authenticated session and to remember UI preferences such as your selected timezone and dashboard date range. Our tracking code, when installed on your pages, uses localStorage to assign a stable visitor identifier so that activity from the same visitor across multiple sessions can be attributed to a single funnel journey. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may at any time:

If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA, including the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email above.

7. Children's Privacy

Funnel & Trace is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Silentria LLC is established in the United States, and our service providers operate infrastructure in the United States and other regions. If you use Funnel & Trace from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
